Create a SQL Workspace, connect a Pulsar or Kafka cluster through a SQL Catalog, and process its topics with SQL.
SQL Workspaces are available by invitation only. Your organization must have the preview enabled. If SQL does not appear in the Cloud Console, contact StreamNative support.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:
  • A StreamNative Cloud organization with SQL Workspace Private Preview access.
  • A cloud role that permits the required SQL Workspace and SQL Catalog operations.
  • An eligible hosted location or ready BYOC Cloud Environment.
  • A StreamNative Pulsar or Kafka cluster if you want to add a SQL Catalog immediately.
  • Organization Admin access if you need to perform SQL Workspace engine administration.

Get started through the Cloud Console

Complete these tasks in order:
  1. Create a SQL Workspace.
  2. Add a SQL Catalog.
  3. Choose a query path:
SQL Studio is the integrated browser experience. The native endpoint supports psql and other PostgreSQL-compatible clients. The connection guide uses psql as an example. Cloud CLI management is not currently supported. See Cloud CLI for the current status.
