# Release note V1.4.0

StreamNative Platform 1.4.0 is now available. This release includes documentation updates for the following topics.

* **MoP Support**: StreamNative Platform supports the [MQTT-on-Pulsar (MoP)](https://github.com/streamnative/mop), which is a protocol handler developed by StreamNative to natively support the MQTT protocol on the Pulsar broker. For details about how to enable MoP, see [configure MoP](/private-cloud/v1/operating-streamnative-platform/protocols/mop).

* **JVM Options**: StreamNative Platform provides some JVM options, such as `memoryOptions` and `gcOptions`, which are used to tune the performance and scalability of your application. For details, see [configure JVM options](/private-cloud/v1/operating-streamnative-platform/advanced/advanced-configuration#configure-jvm-options).

* **Multiple Volumes**: you can configure multiple volumes and directories of each volume for using [ledgers](https://bookkeeper.apache.org/docs/getting-started/concepts#ledgers) and [journals](https://bookkeeper.apache.org/docs/getting-started/concepts#journals) on StreamNative Platform to persist data storage and avoid data loss.
